Job Summary

A customer-facing Resident Solutions Architect on the Professional Services team leads data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects for manufacturing customers. You design and implement reference architectures, guide end-to-end big data and AI deployments, collaborate with engagement managers and engineering teams, and provide technical leadership and issue resolution to ensure successful adoption of the Databricks platform while traveling up to 30% as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement reference architectures and productionalize customer use cases on the Databricks platform.
•Collaborate with engagement managers to scope professional services work with input from the customer.
•Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build and deployment of big data and AI applications.
•Consult on architecture and design to enable customer understanding, evaluation and adoption of Databricks.
•Provide escalated support for customer operational issues and coordinate with engineering and support teams to resolve product or deployment issues.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,656 - 248,360 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics.
•Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
•Working knowledge of two or more Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one
•Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals
•Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
