Job Summary

Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) repair support at an FAA-regulated Pratt & Whitney facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. You’ll review metallurgical dispositions, complete required classroom theory and certification support, sign off inspected products, and maintain inspection-area readiness while troubleshooting equipment issues. Serve as a trainer for NDT inspectors and liaison between quality and operations, working 2nd shift Monday–Thursday (4x10).

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trainer for NDT inspectors and act as a liaison between quality and operations.
•Perform quality review metallurgical dispositions following required procedures.
•Complete classroom theory training for other inspectors and proctor OFT and certification exams per Pratt & Whitney NDT qualifications.
•Understand internal and external customer requirements and resolve findings with high attention to detail.
•Sign off inspected product and perform daily equipment walk-arounds to maintain inspection-area cleanliness and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Key Requirements

•HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.
•2-year technical degree in a Non-Destructive Testing program OR Level II certification or higher in multiple NDT disciplines.
•In absence of a technical degree, 5 years of work experience in Non-Destructive inspection.
•Experience in a quality and/or aerospace manufacturing environment.
•ASNT certifications in multiple NDT disciplines, plus experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
