Software Engineer - Defense Physical AI

Design and implement high-performance backend systems in C++ for defense autonomy products, Axion and Acuity. Own backend infrastructure that enables multi-domain autonomous operations in contested, degraded environments. Collaborate with autonomy researchers, product teams, and defense customers to translate mission needs into robust software, and deliver engineering work end-to-end from architecture through deployment. Help scale the Ann Arbor site through technical standards and engineering practices.
