Key Responsibilities

•Transport aggregates from quarries and gravel pits to customer job sites using a dump truck and pup trailer.
•Ensure compliance with safety policies and federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and MSHA.
•Operate tarp mechanisms to cover/uncover the truck and trailer box before and/or after each load.
•Comply with DOT requirements for licensing, vehicle inspections, and hours of service.
•Inspect the truck at the start and end of each workday (pre/post trip inspections and check-off sheet) and keep the truck and trailer clean using truck wash compound.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Ability to safely operate a truck and trailer combination (pup and truck).
•Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL and a valid DOT medical card.
•Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
•Ability to complete pre- and post-trip inspections, including under-hood and safety checks (tires, lights, trailer, etc.).
