Job Summary

Support maintenance, reliability, and operational integrity for the Huntsman Advanced Technology Center (HATC) Shared Services Division. You’ll partner with the site Master Electrician on installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure (up to 480 VAC), while also handling plumbing, mechanical systems, facility maintenance, and minor fabrication. Perform CMMS preventive/corrective work, execute LOTO and arc-flash safety procedures, coordinate contractors, and respond to urgent/on-call maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the site Master Electrician with installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems including lighting, machinery, motors, control panels, switchgear, and three-phase power up to 480 VAC.
•Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals; perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and testing in the site CMMS.
•Execute site Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash procedures in compliance with safety requirements; maintain required safety certifications and progress toward a Journeyman Electrician license.
•Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure systems (waste, potable water, deionized water, and gas plumbing).
•Coordinate with contractors, respond to urgent/on-call maintenance requests, identify and report safety hazards, and participate in EH&S initiatives and required training.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Experience as an Electrician Apprentice.
•Strong background in electrical installations and electrical infrastructure systems.
•Exposure to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and PLC systems.
•Experience with plumbing systems and fittings, plus ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
