Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the site Master Electrician with installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems including lighting, machinery, motors, control panels, switchgear, and three-phase power up to 480 VAC.
  • •Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals; perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and testing in the site CMMS.
  • •Execute site Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash procedures in compliance with safety requirements; maintain required safety certifications and progress toward a Journeyman Electrician license.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure systems (waste, potable water, deionized water, and gas plumbing).
  • •Coordinate with contractors, respond to urgent/on-call maintenance requests, identify and report safety hazards, and participate in EH&S initiatives and required training.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Experience as an Electrician Apprentice.
  • •Strong background in electrical installations and electrical infrastructure systems.
  • •Exposure to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and PLC systems.
  • •Experience with plumbing systems and fittings, plus ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
