Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and build one or more parts of the database: ingestion, query planning, distributed query execution, and storage formats.
  • •Define and build a scalable multi-tenant database SaaS foundation, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, background jobs, and service boundaries.
  • •Build agent-facing retrieval workflows by creating APIs and database interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications.
  • •Partner with product and infrastructure teams to balance experimentation speed with long-term reliability as the project moves to production.
  • •Instrument database services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards, and use observability tools to improve reliability.
