Job Summary

Build and own mission-critical backend services for on-chain access, powering DeFi connectivity, multi-chain integrations, transaction execution pipelines, and on-chain data access. Design scalable APIs and components across EVM and non-EVM networks, lead protocol and node integrations, and continuously optimize production systems for performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with product, protocol research, and platform engineering teams while researching emerging blockchain standards to keep the platform at the cutting edge.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build robust, scalable backend services for high-volume on-chain transaction flows across multiple blockchain networks (EVM and non-EVM).
•Own end-to-end development of backend components and APIs, from architecture decisions to production deployment.
•Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on-chain data sources, and blockchain nodes across diverse chains and ecosystems.
•Research and evaluate emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and standards to keep the platform current.
•Optimize production systems for performance, reliability, and security, reducing latency and increasing throughput.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 60,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer.
•Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree/experience.
•Strong blockchain/Web3 experience, including transaction lifecycles, consensus mechanisms, smart contract interactions, and on-chain data.
•Experience across multiple blockchain ecosystems, including EVM-compatible chains (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base) and non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, TON, Tron).
•Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with experience designing and operating microservices in CI/CD environments.
