Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, implement, and troubleshoot trading-industry networks to meet connectivity and performance needs.
  • •Design and manage multi-protocol switched and routed enterprise networks.
  • •Configure, operate, and troubleshoot firewall architectures, rules, and policies; review logs and proposed changes for insecure rule sets.
  • •Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for external and internal clients and resolve network issues using monitoring tools.
  • •Respond to trouble tickets, coordinate project/task progress for SLA compliance, and maintain documentation and network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 7 years in the financial industry, preferably trading environments.
  • •Architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of trading-related network infrastructure, including market data distribution and low-/ultra-low-latency networks.
  • •Network security expertise in a financial trading environment, including architecture, engineering, implementation, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • •Expertise configuring firewall rules and policies for client connectivity and other network security requirements, with ability to analyze firewall logs and policies.
  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree; Cisco/Arista/Juniper/Fortinet network security certifications are a plus.
