Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in post-show sorting of recycling, composting, and landfill materials.
  • •Serve as an ambassador to staff to help them understand their role in achieving venue sustainability goals.
  • •Support employee engagement programs such as water bottle refill punch cards and post-show sort giveaways.
  • •Engage fans and encourage participation in sustainability activities or education.
  • •Participate in Zero Waste Captain training.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in events management and/or operations.
  • •Dedication to a cause with real, immediate impact.
  • •Must be able to work well with other departments.
  • •Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., with much time spent sorting materials.
  • •Must be willing to participate in Zero Waste Captain training and pass a required background check.
