Job Summary

Own Accounting and Reporting Operations for a BU/geographical scope, ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Lead closing and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, providing ultimate sign-off on monthly closes. Maintain internal control measures, review and approve reconciliations and manual GL journals, and analyze balance sheet composition, aging, and P&L movements while driving process review and continuous improvement proposals.

•Lead financial reporting operations for the respective BU/geographical areas.
•Lead and coordinate closing and reporting activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
•Provide ultimate sign-off for monthly closing activities for the respective BU/geographical areas.
•Develop and maintain internal control measures within the GS RTR area; review and approve reconciliations and manual GL journals.
•Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet composition and aging analysis and analyze P&L; coordinate process review and continuous improvement proposals.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in financial reporting and accounting operations.
•Bachelor’s degree in a faculty of commerce or equivalent.
•Solid understanding of financial reporting and financial accounting.
•Strong knowledge of financial systems and business intelligence tools.
•Solid understanding of compliance and internal controls, including process design and process excellence.
