Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement a unified data development platform for global data producers, including intelligent IDE capabilities, workflow management, and multi-engine integration.
  • •Explore managing distributed state and synchronizing metadata between centralized systems and regional environments worldwide.
  • •Design and develop a high-performance distributed scheduling system to manage large-scale tasks across business lines.
  • •Work closely with partner teams across ByteDance and globally.
  • •Design and develop integrations with other systems across the big data ecosystem.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Familiarity with at least one backend programming language such as Java, Go, or Python.
  • •Strong foundation in software development, data structures, and algorithms.
  • •Exposure to software design and architecture, plus testing and launching software products.
  • •Familiarity with web frameworks such as Spring Boot, and/or big data technologies like Hadoop, ClickHouse, and Flink.
