Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with merchants and handle escalations by investigating, triaging, and responding accurately and timely across multiple channels.
  • •Own operational processes such as risk user experience reviews and urgent risk-related escalations while maintaining strong documentation.
  • •Identify risk factors and trends, and report them to the wider risk team to improve consistency in partnerships.
  • •Use analytics to optimize strategies across Stripe’s portfolio and drive process improvements based on user feedback patterns.
  • •Identify gaps in systems, policies, and strategies, recommend enhancements, and build scalable solutions for risk support best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in a customer-facing operations, compliance, risk, trust & safety, or similar role.
  • •Experience investigating and/or performing risk analysis or risk operations.
  • •Experience using data to propose tactical and strategic solutions to complex problems.
  • •Strong communication skills, including explaining technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Experience with SQL/Redshift and complex, sensitive user-facing issues (privacy, user safety, fraud, or supportability).
