Job Summary

Lead end-to-end technical, programmatic, and organizational execution for HP’s premium workstation platforms. Own platform architecture alignment and execution from early architecture and silicon engagement through validation, manufacturing ramp, post-launch quality, and long-term roadmap readiness. Provide executive arbitration on technical risks and schedule commitments, manage and develop senior leaders across hardware/firmware and platform integration, and steward multi-million-dollar R&D budgets while partnering with suppliers, customers, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide executive-level leadership across multiple concurrent workstation programs, including new platforms, refreshes, sustaining engineering, and customer-driven adaptations.
•Own platform execution across architecture alignment, design readiness, validation, manufacturing ramp, and post-launch quality.
•Serve as final arbitration for technical risk, priority tradeoffs, scope decisions, and schedule commitments.
•Lead organizational and people strategy, including hiring plans, succession planning, promotions, and operating models balancing in-house capabilities with ODM partners.
•Steward R&D budgets and guide supplier/ODM engagement, escalations, and regulatory/security compliance to ensure customer readiness.

Key Requirements

•Senior-level engineering leadership experience (Director) in hardware, systems, or platform engineering.
•Proven success leading large, multi-disciplinary engineering organizations through complex product cycles.
•Demonstrated ability to operate strategically within a technical context.
•Strong executive communication skills, influencing VP/Sr. VP/GM-level stakeholders.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
