Job Summary

The Sales Engineer blends technical cybersecurity expertise with sales acumen to position Symantec Security Solutions, translate customer requirements into multi-dimensional, outcome-driven solutions, and collaborate with account teams to drive deals. You’ll craft end-to-end proposals, deliver briefings, and support RFIs/RFPs while guiding customers on performance, sizing, tuning, and best practices in a fast-paced presales environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Articulate the Information Security value proposition, integration potential, vision, and strategy to customers and partners.
•Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of Symantec Security Solutions.
•Act as a trusted advisor to develop a cyber security strategy based on customer requirements.
•Differentiate and position Symantec product features and best practices via presentations and proof of concept to influence decisions.
•Collaboratively develop an end-to-end solution including consulting, professional services, and implementation design.

Key Requirements

•At least 3 years of relevant experience as presales engineer within cyber security domain.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.
•Strong problem-solving and technical capabilities for designing multi-dimensional, outcome-driven solutions.
•Ability to articulate information security value propositions and deliver technical briefings and demonstrations.
•Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and collaboration with cross-functional teams (sales, product management, support).
