Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operates vehicle according to state and federal transportation laws and delivers loads safely and on time
•Manages loading/unloading, follows loading crew signals, and uses specialized equipment when warranted
•Maintains signed invoices and shipping documents and delivers paperwork to staff after completing deliveries
•Performs routine truck maintenance (checking oil, water, gasoline, air) and reports malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor
•Arranges trailers in loading yards for optimum loading patterns and performs other related duties as assigned

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight

•Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to communicate professionally with customers and staff at delivery points
