Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for residents’ physical, emotional and social well-being by ensuring needs are met.
  • •Coach and guide the team with formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • •Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident.
  • •Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation.
  • •Manage the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care and administering and ordering medication.

Key Requirements

  • •As a Registered Nurse, have a valid NMC pin.

  • •Ability to work at night with limited support, using critical thinking, calm judgment, and self-reliance.
