Job Summary

Build and scale backend services for identity security posture management, evaluating millions of identity configurations and powering posture scoring and risk remediation. You’ll deliver end-to-end backend solutions (data modeling, APIs, evaluation logic) using Go, event-driven workflows with Kafka, and scalable multi-tenant database schemas. Partner with senior engineers and Product, contribute to system design and technical docs, and support reliability via testing, observability, runbooks, feature flags, and on-call/incident response.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver backend solutions end-to-end from data modeling through APIs and evaluation logic based on product requirements.
•Contribute to the design of core identity security posture systems and author/review technical design documents.
•Construct and scale high-performance backend services in Go, including REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven systems, and integration layers.
•Implement event-driven workflows with Kafka to manage asynchronous processing for continuous identity posture evaluation.
•Maintain operational reliability through testing, observability, runbooks, feature flags, and participate in on-call/incident response and SLO management.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of software development experience, including ~2 years building production-grade backend services.
•Extensive backend production experience with Go, with idiomatic design, thorough testing, and robust error handling.
•Strong system design skills building scalable, multi-tenant, event-driven distributed systems.
•Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar high-throughput event-streaming technologies.
•Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling for multi-tenant workloads.
