Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data across many makes/models to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform safe maintenance and repairs in the shop and, when required, on customer job sites for generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with another technician.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic paperwork/work orders daily and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
