Job Summary

Lead senior engineering work on substation projects within WSP's energy and distributions practice. Mentor junior engineers, coordinate with the UK team, oversee design deliverables, and ensure adherence to international codes. You’ll work across locations in Bengaluru and Noida, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver AIS/GIS substations, BIM workflows, and complex calculations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead design and detailing for complex substation projects, coordinating with multiple disciplines and the WSP UK Team to ensure deliverables meet employer requirements and deadlines.
•Mentor and coach junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and ensuring QA/QC processes are followed across projects.
•Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, including liaison with international teams and adherence to international codes and standards.
•Oversee BIM 360 workflows and the use of Tekla, Robot, and STAAD for modelling, analysis, and documentation.
•Collaborate across offices (Bengaluru, Noida, Mumbai) to drive project progress, risk management, and timely reporting.

Key Requirements

•Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in the Energy & Distributions sector, preferably in AIS & GIS types of substations.
