Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical delivery of stormwater or river hydraulic modelling and apply hydraulic principles for infrastructure planning.
  • •Use Innovyze ICM or Tuflow to build, update, or test modelling options/scenarios, including schematisation, validation, calibration, and performance assessment.
  • •Develop hydrologic models and urban hydrology for hydraulic modelling use cases.
  • •Interpret and manipulate geospatial datasets with ArcGIS or QGIS and interpret model outputs for infrastructure planning.
  • •Support, coach, and mentor hydraulic modelling professionals while ensuring quality processes, verification, and risk communication are completed effectively.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering followed by a Masters in Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering (or similar).
  • •Professional Registration (Chartered Engineer status or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 12 years’ experience post qualification in stormwater and/or river hydraulic modelling.
  • •At least 6 years’ experience using Innovyze ICM for stormwater modelling or Tuflow WS Pro for river modelling, with extensive use in ICM/Tuflow within the last 12 months.
  • •Demonstrable experience using ArcGIS or QGIS to deliver stormwater and/or river hydraulic modelling projects.
