Key Responsibilities

•Drive the truck under the loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, concrete, and water, and start the mixer.
•Transport and unload ready-mixed concrete to job locations by releasing it down the truck chute.
•Clean the truck after deliveries and spray surfaces with protective compound to prevent concrete build-up.
•Inspect truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fluid levels) and keep equipment in working order.
•Follow DOT rules and safety procedures, keep paperwork in order, and periodically assist customers with placing/spreading concrete.

Key Requirements

•Must possess a valid “Class B” CDL license and be able to pass a DOT physical and substance test.

•Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
