Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform ground operations such as greasing equipment, general laboring, routine maintenance, and minor servicing around asphalt plants.
  • •Safely operate heavy equipment (e.g., bobcat, skid steer, man lift, water truck, haul truck) and communicate using hand signals as needed.
  • •Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with required documentation and comply with company policies.
  • •Assist the plant foreman with daily operations and plant upkeep, including addressing safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
  • •Assist in training less-experienced employees and perform welding/fabrication and manual tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, and jackhammer operation as required.
