Job Summary

Lead the Special Products engineering organization, overseeing engineering managers and driving delivery of specialized product solutions tailored to customer specifications. Own global demand and supply planning and monitor quality, performance, and productivity metrics to meet Emerson standards and service levels. Partner across regional teams worldwide to ensure compliance with engineering standards, industry regulations, and Emerson quality and safety policies while setting strategic direction and fostering continuous improvement through innovation and automation/AI.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and oversee engineering managers responsible for designing specialized product solutions across global teams.
•Develop, implement, and manage a global demand and supply (resource) plan for Special Products engineering.
•Develop, implement, and monitor global quality, performance, and productivity metrics to meet Emerson targets and service levels.
•Partner with world area and regional engineering teams to maintain compliance with engineering standards and metrics.
•Establish strategic direction and long-term objectives for the department, including continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for intelligent automation and AI.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; advanced degree or MBA is desired.
•At least 10 years of experience in sales or engineering management.
•Proven leadership overseeing multidisciplinary engineering groups in dynamic environments.
•History of driving process improvements to enhance quality and increase engineering project efficiency.
•Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities aligned to business objectives and technical requirements.
