Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and solid-state equipment using blueprints, schematics, and PLC programming.
  • •Correct electrical problems for machine technicians to reduce downtime.
  • •Perform preventative, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance on production and building electrical equipment, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls.
  • •Maintain the plant emergency lighting system, including weekly performance checks.
  • •Maintain required logs/records and submit purchase requisitions for repair parts and materials to the supervisor as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work with blueprints, schematics, and PLC program listing to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic/solid-state equipment.
  • •Must be responsive in correcting electrical problems for machine technicians.
  • •Maintain preventative, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance for production and building electrical equipment, including AC & DC drives and PLC/system controls.
  • •Journeyman’s License and/or completion of a 150-hour Master Electrician course at a technical school, or a degree in a related field (electromechanical studies).
  • •Maintain plant emergency lighting and keep required logs/records per state/federal codes or company procedures.
