Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and manage delivery of road pavement design projects, ensuring design adequacy.
  • •Ensure compliance with standards and legislation across project delivery.
  • •Manage resource time, cost, and quality for pavement design deliverables.
  • •Conduct or support pavement investigation for maintenance design and failure investigation.
  • •Work with UK civil discipline and understand scope/limits between engineering disciplines and support groups.

Key Requirements

  • •7 years of professional experience in pavement design and pavement evaluation techniques.
  • •At least 3 years of professional experience in pavement design using AASHTO/DMRB methods.
  • •Ability to design and lead road pavement design projects.
  • •Working knowledge of heavy-duty pavements (port and airfield) and of concrete and flexible pavement design.
  • •Chartered member or close to achieving Chartership Status with the UK Engineering Council through ICE or CIHT.
