Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead threat modeling and security design discussions, translating risks into engineering actions and stress-testing designs against attack scenarios before committing time.
  • •Partner with product and platform teams to review security architecture for new features, assessing data exposure, access control, and abuse-case risk.
  • •Build scalable preventative controls in AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), using AI to scaffold modules while performing least-privilege, blast-radius, and edge-case reviews.
  • •Evaluate and uplift security tooling (commercial, cloud-native, and AI-assisted) for scale, efficiency, and precision.
  • •Serve as a hands-on technical contributor during security incidents, using AI to accelerate log/telemetry triage while owning root-cause and response judgments.

Salary: USD 153,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Proven delivery in security engineering or infrastructure security roles, ideally in cloud-native environments.
  • •Deep comprehension of AWS architecture and identity/access patterns (IAM, STS, cross-account roles/policies, VPC segmentation, KMS) with working knowledge of Azure and GCP.
  • •Strong scripting and dev fundamentals in Python and/or Go, with proficiency in Git and Linux and infrastructure automation patterns.
  • •Experience directing AI coding/agent tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) while applying judgment to catch incorrect, incomplete, or dangerous security logic.
  • •Expertise integrating/building tooling for SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, and CSPM platforms; experience deploying security controls via IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) in AWS.
