Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary point of contact between engineering and category teams for product-level technical discussions.
  • •Own product-level functional requirements and non-functional attributes/constraints including safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability.
  • •Lead complex product-level trade-off discussions to converge on correct engineering solutions across multiple functional teams.
  • •Collaborate on development strategy with peers in the project team and ensure complete ownership of systems/sub-systems and clear interfaces.
  • •Chair technical reviews after each design iteration and periodically report technical readiness, correctness/completeness of requirements/specifications, and closure of technical risks/issues.

Key Requirements

  • •First degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or electronics engineering, depending on the product/category.
  • •Minimum 6 years of experience in a product development environment, ideally from early stage through the start of mass production.
  • •Deep subject matter expertise plus the ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional work-packages for successful project delivery.
  • •Knowledge of best practices in technical specifications and risk and issue management.
  • •Demonstrable experience leading engineering trade-off analysis and reviews/discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
