Job Summary

Deliver complex aviation and infrastructure projects as a senior leader, owning the full project lifecycle and coordinating delivery across internal technical teams and external consultants. Lead project interfaces, design reviews, risk registers, and change control, while managing NEC contract activities including programme submissions and compensation events. Communicate project information to clients and stakeholders, provide monthly reporting, and support team growth through performance management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership across the full project lifecycle to ensure successful client delivery and support team growth.
•Coordinate project interfaces at all stages and manage design consultants and external service providers.
•Organise design review meetings, communicate design acceptance to the Contractor, and communicate design changes to impacted stakeholders.
•Maintain project reporting and controls including the RACI task tracker, overall risk register, change control process, and monthly progress reporting.
•Lead NEC-specific activities such as reviewing programme submissions, issuing contract documents, and managing compensation events and payment assessments.

Key Requirements

•A degree qualification (BSc or MSc) in project management or another construction-/engineering-related discipline.
•Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC suite of contracts.
•Professional accreditation, ideally Chartered status with RICS, APM, CIOB, or an equivalent professional institution.
•Strong background delivering complex projects across infrastructure sectors, including aviation.
•Commercial/buildings background with experience leading project delivery.
