Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a strategic legal advisor to Management on a broad range of general insurance matters, translating risk into clear, practical guidance for business decision-making.
  • •Lead end-to-end drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements with distribution, outsourcing and supplier partners, ensuring robust protections and commercially balanced terms.
  • •Provide trusted counsel on regulatory and corporate governance requirements, partnering with stakeholders to maintain strong governance and defensible regulatory outcomes.
  • •Oversee contentious matters, disputes and investigations, coordinating internal teams and external counsel to protect the Company’s interests and reputation.
  • •Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, setting clear standards and building a high-performing Legal & Compliance function.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Law
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in legal and compliance in the insurance industry
  • •Outstanding communication skills across all functions and levels of the organization, including regulators and external partners
  • •Flexible, collaborative, proactive, creative and entrepreneurial attitude
  • •Good technical experience in insurance or financial services industry, ideally in a leadership position
