  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction safety/phasing plans in coordination with owners and other disciplines.
  • •Perform structural analysis, design, checking, and reviews for complex bridges, and train others in the same.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related).
  • •Over 5 years of relevant post-education experience with prior bridge design; Master’s/Ph.D. considered in lieu of experience.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Extensive experience with structural modeling and design, including linear/non-linear static, dynamic time history, and finite element modeling using industry tools (e.g., Larsa 4D, MIDAS, SOFiSTiK, ANSYS, ADINA, CSiBridge, STAAD, Bentley Open Bridge, MDX).
  • •Highly proficient in technical writing and discipline-specific design software, with strong understanding of engineering principles, math, physics, and predictive models.
