Job Summary

Maintain clients’ firewall infrastructures in an entry-level Security Managed Services (L1) role, ensuring SLAs are met with zero missed conditions. Monitor client environments, investigate incidents and service requests, and provide ITSM/telephonic/chat support to resolve issues. Schedule patching and configuration changes, manage shift handovers, update knowledge articles, and identify opportunities to automate and optimize workflows, including disaster recovery testing when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain clients’ firewall infrastructures to ensure SLAs are met with zero missed conditions.
•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify and investigate problems/errors before or as they occur.
•Handle standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests via telephony, ITSM tickets, or chat support.
•Perform proactive maintenance by scheduling patching and configuration changes, following handover procedures for shift continuity.
•Contribute to work optimization through automation of work, improved incident resolution/request fulfilment, and support disaster recovery functions and tests when needed.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data centre, systems, or storage administration and monitoring in an ICT organization.
•Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
•Strong active listening skills (paraphrasing, probing, and not interrupting).
•Highly disciplined ticket handling and prompt action per defined SOPs using available knowledge articles and SOPs.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification) or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
