Job Summary

Lead a team of laboratory support associates in Leiden, driving daily lab operations in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Oversee equipment cleaning and preparation, preventive maintenance coordination, autoclave operations, sample management, shipment handling, biowaste management, and related support tasks. Ensure customer deliverables are met to SOW standards while maintaining SOP and safety compliance, GDP and GxP adherence, and strong operational documentation and quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, and motivate a team of laboratory support associates, including performance reviews, workforce planning, and scheduling.
•Oversee daily laboratory support activities such as equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance coordination, autoclave operations, sample management, and shipment receipt and handling.
•Manage biowaste management and chemical/laboratory support tasks required for lab operations.
•Ensure customer requirements in SOWs are delivered on time and to a high standard, serving as a key liaison between customers, operational teams, and internal stakeholders.
•Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, GDP and GxP standards, and support operational documentation, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
