Job Summary

Lead Visa’s horizontal and long-term policy strategy for major government stakeholders across the LAC region. Own account plans for key policy issues, monitor political and policy risk, and guide advocacy efforts to protect Visa’s “right-to-play” and support Visa 2030. Collaborate across GA clusters, markets, Global GA, and product/strategy teams to shape policy frameworks, develop thought leadership, and represent Visa externally. Hybrid role based in Miami with limited travel.

•Own horizontal and long-term strategies for major policy issues facing Visa’s business in the LAC region.
•Develop government stakeholder account plans and engage strategically with GA regional and country leads, country managers, and functional leaders.
•Monitor the external political and policy environment, assess risks, and coordinate intelligence and mitigation with corporate affairs/legal/risk functions.
•Guide LAC GA efforts to influence policy impacting Visa’s ability to do business and support Visa’s 2030 strategy while shaping the external policy environment.
•Collaborate to develop thought leadership and support external representation; maintain long-term trusted relationships with key stakeholders to protect Visa’s reputation and growth.

Salary: USD 163,500 - 261,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Demonstrable experience in relevant corporate roles, primarily regulatory/government agency or prominent consultancy.
•Experience in the payments industry; strong interest in digital services and/or technology.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and persuade at C-suite level and with senior policy makers and regulators.
•Proven ability to think strategically, proactively and creatively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Strong analytical skills and ability to act independently within a multi-disciplinary matrixed team.
