Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure requirements are met per the Project HSE plan and HSEMS, including continual site monitoring.
  • •Develop/implement emergency response procedures and evacuation plans to ensure safe evacuation.
  • •Conduct HSE training for workers (incident prevention, first aid, safety awareness) and run daily toolbox talks; ensure 100% site induction before work starts.
  • •Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, and address/report violations with recommendations.
  • •Produce daily, weekly, and monthly HSE performance reports; inspect mobile plant/gears and site equipment/fire extinguishers and maintain logs; investigate accidents/incident and support resolution per policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years working experience with 3 years of relevant HSE experience.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • •Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • •Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, plus a Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
