Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Commissioning Manager and support the Principal Commissioning Engineer with preparation of home office deliverables.
  • •At site, participate in walk-down inspections, punch listing, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument component issues.
  • •Support commissioning activities including manuals development, commissioning and start-up spares, first fills/consumables, commissioning and start-up procedures, and equipment system checks and tests.
  • •Participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing, and resolve operational and maintenance issues during these phases.
  • •Supervise craft personnel for site pre-commissioning/commissioning and coordinate with the commissioning team and other engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
  • •8-15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Strong understanding of commissioning, completions, and training; basic knowledge of construction and operations & maintenance.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility, with preferably 2+ years of commissioning and start-up experience.
  • •Proficiency communicating technical solutions; solid MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills; willing and able to travel to international construction sites.
