Job Summary

Build and optimize TikTok LIVE revenue infrastructure, including gifting and other revenue features, for millions of users and live streamers. Lead large-scale technical projects to enable scalable, high-availability distributed systems, develop robust backend solutions, and influence engineering strategy, tooling, processes, and culture. Work closely with product managers throughout the lifecycle of critical product features, while researching and integrating cutting-edge domain and technical knowledge.

•Plan and lead large-scale technical projects to establish foundations for iterative development and scalability of early products.

•Research and integrate cutting-edge domain and technical knowledge into product development.
•Collaborate closely with product managers to deliver the best live streaming experience for live streamers and viewers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent relevant work experience.
•Extensive experience designing and developing scalable, highly available, distributed, mission-critical systems.
•Proficiency in at least one programming language: Go, Python, Java, or C++.
•Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
•Knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks such as MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
