Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short term, solution-focused, walk-around counseling directly to eligible service and family members at assigned primary and secondary locations, including assessment, brief counseling, action planning, referrals, and follow-up
  • •Deliver training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and base/installation activities as directed
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily through smartphone, web, or fax to ensure accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality
  • •Establish and maintain working relationships with community resources and military populations, partnering with POC to address installation needs
  • •Respond to critical incidents, surge and on-demand events, and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the OSD program manager; flex schedule as needed

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree from an accredited Graduate Program in a Mental Health related field
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license from a State, District of Columbia, US Territory or Commonwealth that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner
  • •A minimum of one year of post-licensure clinical experience
  • •Demonstrate intermediate-level competencies in technology and software (i.e., Microsoft Suite, Internet navigation, Smartphone/Tablet and application navigation, video-conferencing platform navigation)
  • •Ability to prove U.S. Citizenship and must be fluent in English
