Job Summary

Manufacture and install high-quality sheet metal components, including ventilation systems and internal fittings, using hand and power tools. Interpret engineering drawings to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to required standards. Apply problem-solving during manufacturing and installation to ensure correct fit and safe completion. Work collaboratively within a 6–12 person team delivering upgrades, refurbishments, and new installations across secure sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Manufacture and install high-quality sheet metal components, including ventilation systems and internal fittings.
•Interpret engineering drawings to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
•Produce accurate, well-finished work that meets required standards and quality expectations.
•Use practical problem-solving skills to resolve issues during manufacturing and installation for correct fit and safe completion.
•Collaborate with a skilled team to maintain a safe environment and deliver reliable installations that keep projects on track.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 40,016

Key Requirements

•Hold a recognised Modern Apprenticeship, Trade Papers, or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
•Provide Modern Apprenticeship / Trade Papers when submitting the application.
•Experience from construction, manufacturing, marine, or other practical engineering environments.
•Apply knowledge of SHE and COSHH requirements, following safe working practices and safety training.
•Be able to work from engineering drawings and demonstrate solid attention to detail for accurate, high-quality work.
