Key Responsibilities

  • •Record project-related business transactions in the accounting register (GL) in compliance with reporting standards and company policies.
  • •Prepare monthly trial balances and ensure accurate, high-quality, timely book closing.
  • •Perform monthly accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and maintain the integrity of accounting software/system data.
  • •Support external audits of periodical financial statements as directed.
  • •Act as the focal point for tax authorities: prepare, file, and pay tax reporting in line with applicable laws and maintain separate tax books when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with a mandatory professional qualification ACCA or equivalent.
  • •4–6 years’ experience in accounting within infrastructure, construction, or project environments.
  • •Strong IFRS knowledge with hands-on exposure to GL, reporting, AP/AR, reconciliations, and audits.
  • •Experience in tax compliance, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • •Solid understanding of accounting systems and internal controls, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment.
