Job Summary

Data Scientist to own algorithmic models across Retail, Digital Commerce, R&D, and Supply Chain in a Warsaw hub. Build and deploy ML, deep learning, GenAI and optimization models; partner with product and AI engineering teams; work with large-scale datasets and production-grade code to deliver impact for billions of consumers.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with product teams and business leaders to understand the problem and collaborate with AI & data engineering teams to automate and deploy models into applications
•Develop insights to steer the algorithmic evolution roadmap in your area of ownership
•Analyze and model on large datasets (e.g., translating 1.5TB daily touchpoints and 500M consumers’ behaviors) to actionable recommendations
•Answer business questions and propose solutions for business problems using machine learning techniques
•Advance understanding of ML, statistics, optimization, GenAI and other analytical models and how to apply them to real-world problems

Key Requirements

•Masters in a quantitative field (Statistics, OR, Systems Engineering, CS, Applied Math, Economics) or Bachelor/Engineer with data science experience
•At least 2 years experience with production-grade Data Science / algorithmically enabled applications
•Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes
•Solid code writing capabilities - Python and Spark are preferable
•Strong technical & analytical skills (SQL, optimization, simulation, predictive modeling) and proven leadership/priority setting
