Key Responsibilities

  • •Evolve and scale the recommendation platform and reward mechanisms used by customers worldwide.
  • •Build systems, APIs, and product experiences that shape the first experience for new customers.
  • •Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists/analysts, designers, and other engineering teams to improve recommendation journeys.
  • •Write testable, maintainable code and follow best coding practices, including code reviews and open feedback.
  • •Drive end-to-end ownership of projects to meet goals and address customer pain-points.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 87,500 - 111,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin (or other JVM-based language).
  • •Strong experience with Spring framework and relational databases.
  • •Experience with distributed and concurrent systems, including Kafka.
  • •Experience writing testable code and testing strategies such as unit and integration testing.
  • •Ability to work collaboratively daily with product managers, data scientists/analysts, and engineers, with strong communication skills.
