Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic alterations and more technical tailoring/alteration services, including hemming, patch and repair, tapering, and fitting/tailoring items beyond jeans when equipment is needed.
  • •Resolve tailor-related consumer concerns in line with company policy, partnering with store management on elevated issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Educate and train store teams on offerings and Tailor Shop services, and may support training of other Tailors within the district/region.
  • •Comply with Levi’s Stores policies, procedures, and programs and follow directions of store management.
  • •Suggest looks incorporating latest trends and promotions, promote the Red Tab Loyalty program, and handle cash and Tailor Shop merchandise operations per store policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 3 years’ sewing/tailoring experience with strong knowledge of jeans construction and machines used for sewing denim products.
  • •Thorough understanding of denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
  • •Proven skills in sewing, tailoring, and textile repair, with strong understanding of textiles and fabrics.
  • •Fashion savvy with strong communication skills and attention to design details.
  • •Must be 16 years old and available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
