Job Summary

Support IT availability on the production floor by acting as the first point of contact for IT needs and incidents for operators and supervisors. Diagnose and resolve first-level issues, deploy and install IT/OT equipment, and perform hardware troubleshooting and workstation restores using validated images. Execute guided network operations, manage user account creation/deletion across systems, and document work to support continuous improvement.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the on-site point of contact for production line operators and supervisors for IT questions, requests, and malfunctions.
•Perform first-level diagnosis to resolve locally or escalate incidents to Level 2/3 support.
•Receive, inventory, prepare, and deploy IT and OT peripherals and devices for the production line.
•Perform first-level hardware troubleshooting and repair on workstations and industrial PCs, including reimaging/restoring from validated master images.
•Execute guided physical network operations and carry out user account creation/deletion in designated systems, documenting actions and reporting recurring issues.

Key Requirements

•Vocational or technical diploma in IT, electronics, or a related field (e.g., BTS/DUT Informatique) or equivalent hands-on experience.
•Prior experience in IT hardware support, helpdesk, or industrial environment maintenance is an asset.
•Basic knowledge of PC hardware components and ability to follow structured repair procedures.
•Basic understanding of network cabling and connectivity concepts (Ethernet, patch panels, switches) to perform guided physical operations.
•Good communication skills in English and French to interact clearly with production floor users.
