Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and utilize the union workforce to execute daily terminal operations for bulk liquid commodities and related equipment, targeting zero injuries and zero preventable releases.
  • •Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for safe, efficient, compliant facility operation.
  • •Direct and inspect commodity pumping into/out of storage tanks, maintaining product integrity and preventing contamination of soil/groundwater.
  • •Manage daily heating system operation, ensuring boilers and electric heat tracing systems run per procedure and are properly maintained.
  • •Serve as incident commander during incidents/accidents, take timely corrective actions, and schedule/track required training for terminal personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of two years of leadership/management experience in a dynamic environment.
  • •Experience operating in bulk storage, conveying, and processing equipment.
  • •Exemplary oral and written communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and lead subordinates under pressure.
  • •Ability to respond to emergencies and work from decentralized instructions (written and verbal).
  • •Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and successfully obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) at start of employment; mandatory drug screening and background check upon hire.
