Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines on Databricks using PySpark.
  • •Build ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data, following established design patterns and best practices.
  • •Implement data quality checks, validation, error handling, and support governance, security, lineage, and compliance standards.
  • •Translate moderately complex reinsurance business requirements into technical data solutions and collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and QA Engineers.
  • •Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot production data issues, and implement optimizations and fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, software engineering, or big data development.
  • •Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data using large-scale datasets.
  • •Strong Python skills for data processing and engineering, plus expertise in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • •Experience with PySpark and Databricks (or willingness to learn), and familiarity with Azure data services.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
