Key Responsibilities

  • •PPA execution: Lead the end-to-end negotiation of complex, multi-hundred MW thermal Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and utilities.
  • •Commercial structuring: Design and execute sophisticated commercial frameworks, including physical and financial hedges, tolling agreements, and behind-the-meter configurations.
  • •Market analysis: Evaluate energy market dynamics, nodal pricing, and regulatory shifts (particularly within ERCOT) to optimize procurement timing and pricing.
  • •Risk management: Define and negotiate key risk levers including curtailment rights, performance guarantees, credit support, and fuel-price indexing.
  • •Strategic partnerships: Build and maintain high-level relationships with power generators and transmission providers to maintain a robust pipeline of energy opportunities.

Key Requirements
