Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites. Inspect equipment before use, load/unload materials, and ensure freight is delivered undamaged while following company policies and federal/state regulations. Maintain required compliance records, report accidents, and meet customer deadlines. Provide world-class customer service and communicate professionally with coworkers and management.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect truck/trailer for defects and safely operate the vehicle in compliance with company policies and regulations.
•Load materials onto a flatbed or boom truck, unload at job sites, and deliver to assigned areas as directed.
•Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
•Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
•Lift and handle heavy building materials (up to 100+ lbs as stated) and prioritize personal and public safety while meeting deadlines.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
•Minimum Class B license (Class A strongly preferred).
•Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
•Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and ability to work independently and as part of a team while providing excellent customer service.
