Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special-purpose machinery on the night shift. Install, adjust, and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determine needed repairs, and replace faulty parts including electrical components and circuit boards. Perform welding and cutting, install electrical components, and support plant structure repairs. Keep the work area clean and orderly while using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools to dismantle equipment and restore operation.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special-purpose machines as assigned.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.
•Weld and use a cutting torch as required.
•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery to determine repairs and coordinate as needed.
•Replace faulty parts (including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards) and perform installation/testing of equipment and electrical components.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent, or comparable training, education, or experience.
•Technical or vocational school certification, or equivalent in training or experience.
•Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
•Mechanical aptitude and skill using hand and power tools.
•Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work under extreme conditions (hot/cold, noise, dust, dirt).
