Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as part of a team validating firmware for a brand new storage controller build.
  • •Define test plans and develop automated test scripts using internal and industry-standard test tools and platforms.
  • •Coordinate automated test execution in a firmware continuous integration environment using software simulation and an FPGA platform.
  • •Prioritize failures, submit bug reports, and support development teams in isolating issues.
  • •Use approved AI tools to accelerate test development, automate analysis/reporting, improve debugging workflows, and generate insights from validation data while following AI governance guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in embedded firmware validation.
  • •Extensive Python programming and scripting experience for test automation.
  • •Experience with SSD/HDD/storage systems or related technology.
  • •Understanding of storage interfaces, ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS, plus experience with NAND flash or other non-volatile storage.
  • •Good working knowledge of I2C, SPI, and SMBUS protocols (and ideally Jenkins).
