Job Summary

Join our Water Team in Scotland as a Clean Water modeller, delivering hydraulic modelling projects using Infoworks WS Pro or Synergi, and GIS tools (ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS). Work with multidisciplinary teams on Scotland SR27 Enterprise, mentor junior members, manage workloads, and produce technical reports, with a flexible hybrid working model across Edinburgh and the surrounding region.

Job Function: Industrial, Process & Manufacturing Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver output on a wide range of modelling projects including model build & calibration, model maintenance, optioneering and growth studies.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions through optioneering.
•Prepare Health & Safety Risk Assessments documentation.
•Support the team to efficiently manage project workload and deadlines.
•Undertake a technical mentoring role for more junior staff and produce reports and technical documents.

Key Requirements

•Experience with clean water modelling software packages such as Infoworks WS Pro or Synergi.
•Familiar with GIS software such as ArcGIS, MapInfo or QGIS.
•Understand and work within financial and programme constraints of a project; ability to work to project scope and client’s modelling specifications.
•Experience of mentoring or managing staff and taking ownership of workload.
•Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or another related discipline.
